Quiet. Its so quiet. In the initial weeks, I was reminded of nationwide strikes in India.
Deserted streets. To someone used to the hubub of human activity even at late hours in the night, the streets here appear deserted. Very very few people walk anywhere. A few cars zip by occasionally.
Manicured homes and streets - like a gigantic Magarpatta City.
I must point out that I have a very skewed view - as for the most part I have stayed in Mountain View, in Bay Area, which is the epicenter of extremely well maintained neighbourhoods.
