One of the first things an immigrant does is to get a driving licence. This is harder for people who are (ahem) "good" at the active driving style of India. One has to unlearn all the habits first. I passed (barely) on my third attempt.
Long drives can be quite a pleasure because of the good roads, little traffic and wallpaper like landscapes.
