I have mostly limited my adventures to the mountains and forests of California.
The Redwood forest in Humbolt county
John Muir, Emerson, Thoereou - all had great reverence for Nature and their writings remind me very much of the "Divinity everywhere" core of ancient Indian thought.
Sadly, this philosophical movement is not really introduced in Californian schools (at least not till 8th grade).
