Along with public parks, public libraries are two of the very best things I have experienced in the cities of Bay Area.
The Mountain View public library has been a haven for me. It has many work benches and a pretty park. Lots of hours spent here during Tablehero years and after as well.
As a library, it is excellent - with a good collection. Members (which is default for residents of the city) can take as many books home as they want.
Spent many hours with Rewa there as well - especially in her younger years.
